Las Vegas Housing Summary for 2013



November had the lowest amount of residential resale closings in 5 years!

There were 10,193 closings in the 4th quarter of 2012 and 8,047 in the fourth quarter of 2012, which is a decrease of 21.1%.  

Home prices continue to increase from an average sales price of $163,219 in the 4th quarter of 2012 to $208,287 in the 4th quarter of 2013, which increased 27.9%.

Short sale closings have decreased in 2013. In Dec 2012 there were 1641 short sale closings compared to Dec 2013 there were only 507, which is a 69.1% decrease.
