Through out all of the negative reporting about the housing market I read an article on the LasVegas Review Journal that shinned a bit of light on our future here in Las Vegas. Im not saying that everything here in Las Vegas is all good, yes we were hit by the foreclosure Tsunami,yes gaming is down and yes we have seen a decrease in the number of visitors coming to las Vegas for a vacation. But despite all of this so called negative Information about the valley Some people are taking advantage of the current situation and are buying Real Estate at a discount. It may sound silly to buy Real Estate in a so called down market but that is when you will find some of the best deals. People who are not savvy Real Estate Investors might look at our current market conditions and may be persuaded not to buy but in all actuality our current times are picture perfect for picking up great Real Estate for great prices. During the housing BOOM a few years back here in Las Vegas homes were flying off the market for several different reasons number 1 sub prime lending was at its most popular point and number 2 Las Vegas received a massive amount of positive reviews from the main stream media. The housing market progressively has gone up since the begging of this year which is a fantastic sign. Las Vegas has also been spotted through out the national media (music videos,movies,restaurant reviews,pageant shows, Poker Tournaments,UFC Championships etc) which is another positive sign. If you are looking to buy Real Estate here in Las Vegas Its a great time to buy. Dont wait until the you hear it on the the National News because once they start reporting on it It just might be too late to pick up Real Estate at such a discount.
